No doubt, Atif Aslam has emerged as a most popular singer of this age. His magical voice and unique style made its way throughout the World. Youngster likes to follow him and we can say, he is the most wanted youth icon. Atif Aslam has released three albums in his career and dozens of song for Bollywood Movies. He also sand songs with other musical bands as well e.g. Strings and Guns N’ Roses. When we looks at Atif Aslam’s career form beginning to present time, it seems to be the most successful. He did right things at right time. Therefore it is said, “He came, he sang and he conquered.”
Before discussing Atif Aslam third album, ‘Meri Kahan’ we would like to have a short review of his previous two albums, ‘JalPari and ‘Doorie’. Atif Aslam started his musical career with a band called ‘JAL’ but soon the band separated before releasing its album. That was the time for Atif Aslam to take some right decision and he did the same. He released his first album ‘JalPari’ on 17th July 2004. The album received much appreciation within weeks because the songs of the album really attracted young generation due to the mew touch of music. The songs, ‘Aadaat’, ‘Yakeen’, ‘JalPari’ and ‘Woh Lamhe’ were the most hit number of the age. He became popular not only in his own hometown but the neighbor country also admitted his abilities and devotion to work. As a result, he succeeded to get offers for Bollywood movies as a playback singer. The experience was awesome for Atif Aslam and he gave his best.
In 2006, he released his second album, ‘Doorie’ with the collaboration of an Indian Musical Company ‘TIPS’. This album got fame just according to hopes and the graph of Atif Aslam’s popularity increased and this made him able to get the tittle of ‘Voice of Generation’. Atif Aslam really took pride in it. The most wanted songs of the album were, ‘Doorie’, ‘Kuch Es Tarhan’ and ‘Hum Kiss Gali’.
His third album was released worldwide on 18th January 2008. It was reported to be leaked on the internet before its release. Anyhow the album got good and well feedback from the Pakistan and India as well. The style he used in this album was like the 1st one album. This album possesses 11 songs which are given below;

Some songs also had their videos like ‘Meri Kahani’, ‘Kinara’, ‘Chor Gaye’ and ‘Hangami Halaat’. Meri Kahani was a glimpse of Atif Aslam’s childhood. Kinara also told Atif’s journey of life as he said about this number “Glamorous world is different than that of real”. Beside this, the song Chor Gaye was shooted in India and the song Hangami Halaat was a nice description of the political situation of Pakistan. This album was also with the co-corporation of the TIPS Music India. According to Tips music his solo albums have sold more than 9 million units globally.
Atif Aslam’s fans (Aadeez) always have been waiting for his upcoming album. However Atif has not announced the confirm release of his 4th album anyhow we wish him a very good luck in advance for his new project.
